Run on Trace
Operating software for each side of the load, with agents built into every workflow.
Every load is a chain of small tasks: a quote to price, a truck to find, a customer to update, an invoice to chase. Trace runs the chain, and your team steps in where judgment matters.
One platform, two ways in
Four products on one platform. Run your operation on the Trace TMS built for your side of the load, or keep your systems and put Trace Agents to work inside them.

Control
Four modes, from Shadow to God mode, set for each task, customer, or type of freight. Whatever the mode, anything that commits your company waits for a person.
See the modesReads every email and call, keeps the record, and drafts in silence. Nothing leaves.
Does the work and asks before each step goes out: every post, email, and call.
Runs the carrier side on its own, from posting to negotiation. Customer messages wait for you.
Runs end to end with carriers and customers, inside your rules.
In every mode, God mode included, commitments wait for a person, every task keeps its limits, and everything the agent sees and does is on the record.
Trace Intelligence
Trace captures what happens in email, calls, documents, and tracking, remembers what matters, and brings it to the next decision. All four products share it, so every call your team makes carries everything the company has learned. That is operational superintelligence.
About 500 data points in every load.
Every call and email · Time to answer · Time to respond · Rate classification · Negotiation rounds · Tracking pings · Channel used · Customer preferences · Dock hours · Detention · Border wait · Carrier reliability
On Tuesday's call, Harbor's receiver mentions the Tacoma dock closes at 3 PM.
Trace saves it to the Harbor Supply Tacoma location, with the call as its source.
Thursday, the tracking agent books a 9 AM slot instead of the 4 PM one a new rep might take.
Trace is AI-native freight software for shippers, freight brokers, 3PLs, and asset-based carriers in Canada and the United States, cross-border loads included. It comes as four products: Trace Enterprise for shippers, Trace for Brokers, Trace for Carriers, and Trace Agents, one agent with a team of experts that works inside the tools you already run. Run your operation on one product, or add the agent to the systems you have today.
A TMS keeps the record while your people do the work, and a single-task AI tool handles one step and hands the rest back. Trace puts one agent inside every step of the load, from the first email to the paid invoice, on the same record your team works from. It quotes, covers, tracks, and reconciles, and writes what it did back to your system of record.
No. You can run your operation on a Trace TMS, or keep the TMS and ERP you have and add the agent, which reads and writes the records you already keep. Most teams start with one part, such as quoting or tracking, beside the systems they run today, and add the rest once it has proved itself on their own freight.
It reads quote requests in any format, prices them from live carrier rates, your lane history, and your margin rules, posts loads to DAT, Truckstop, Loadlink, and 123Loadboard, and emails and calls the carriers who run the lane. It tracks every load, tells customers about delays before they ask, checks carrier invoices, and chases what customers owe. How far it goes without asking depends on the mode you set, and bookings and rate confirmations always wait for a person.
You pick one of four modes for each customer and type of freight. Shadow works in the background and sends nothing, Supervised waits for your approval at each step, Autopilot works carriers on its own while customer messages wait for you, and God mode runs end to end inside your rules. In every mode, bookings and rate confirmations wait for a person, and when the agent is unsure it asks you with the context attached.
Trace works in Microsoft 365 and Outlook and has its own phone line for calls and texts. It posts to DAT, Truckstop, Loadlink, and 123Loadboard, connects to carrier APIs such as XPO, Estes, FedEx Freight, TForce Freight, and Day & Ross, and syncs to QuickBooks or Sage. It also reads and writes the TMS and ERP you already run.
Every email, call, and change the agent makes lands on the load's record, with who did it and why, so you can always see what happened and correct it. Anything that commits your company waits for a person, and hard calls come to you with the context attached. When someone on your team corrects a reply, the correction is remembered and applied the next time.
Book a demo, and we run a week of your own loads through Trace with you. You then start with the part that helps most, beside the systems you run today: connect your inbox, add the procedures and customer rules you train people with, and pick a mode for each customer. The first quotes go out the same week.
Most teams begin with a single workflow, like quoting or tracking, and hand over more once the agent proves itself on real freight.
