About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Trace public website and its interactive demonstrations. In these terms, “Trace,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website, and “you” refers to the person visiting or using it.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. If you use the website on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so.

Access to a paid Trace product, customer workspace, API, or connected agent service is governed by the applicable service agreement, order form, and any data processing agreement. These website terms do not replace or change those agreements.

Website information and demos

The website describes Trace products for brokers, carriers, shippers, and teams using agents. Product screens, sample shipments, rates, agent activities, and workflow examples illustrate how a product may work. They are not live freight transactions, binding quotes, service commitments, or guarantees of results.

Interacting with a website demo does not book a shipment, dispatch a vehicle, purchase a service, or authorize a real-world agent action. Feature availability, integrations, pricing, and release timing are subject to your applicable product agreement.

Website content is general information. Independently verify operational, financial, safety, and compliance decisions before acting on them.

The website’s question feature may return an AI-generated answer based on public product information. Answers can be incomplete or inaccurate and do not constitute a contractual commitment or professional advice. Do not submit confidential records or sensitive personal information in a question.

The demo-request form prepares an email in your own email application. A request is sent only when you choose to send that email; submitting the form does not purchase a service or confirm a booking.

Acceptable use

You may browse the website and use its available features for lawful business evaluation and informational purposes. You must not:

  • Use the website to violate applicable law or another person’s rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data, or bypass security controls.
  • Introduce malicious code, disrupt the website, or use automated requests in a way that interferes with its availability.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with Trace.
  • Submit confidential shipment records, credentials, payment details, or personal information through a public demo.

Intellectual property

The website’s branding, design, text, illustrations, software, and other materials belong to Trace or its licensors, except where otherwise identified. Third-party names and logos belong to their respective owners and do not by themselves imply endorsement or partnership.

You may view and share links to the website and retain reasonable copies for internal evaluation. These terms do not grant ownership of our materials or permission to resell them, republish substantial portions, or use Trace branding in a misleading way. Rights granted by applicable law or an express open-source license remain unaffected.

Third-party links and services

The website may link to external websites or describe third-party tools and integrations. Those services are operated by their own providers and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Trace does not control their content, availability, or operation. Review the relevant provider’s terms before using a third-party service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling in connection with this website, including hosting information and browser storage. It should be read alongside these terms. Customer product data may be governed by a separate agreement and product privacy notice.

Availability and disclaimers

We may update, suspend, or remove website content or features, including demonstrations. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every item of information is complete, current, or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its informational materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. This does not limit any express commitment in a separate signed agreement.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Trace is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, business opportunities, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use this public website or reliance on its illustrative content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or any mandatory consumer rights. Liability related to a purchased Trace service is addressed in the agreement for that service.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the website changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. Changes apply prospectively from their publication, subject to any additional notice or agreement required by law. Please review these terms periodically. A website update does not amend a separate signed service agreement.
