Estimate
Estimate your month.Start with exactly what you pick.
A fixed $999 base, then pay as you go. Set how much you ship, how smart the agent is, what it does, and which carriers you connect: the total is your estimated month, and the setup is what you start with. The total on the right updates as you go.
How much you ship
Your base of $999 a month covers the platform and everyone on your desk, with no seats to count. The agent's work is pay as you go on top, and the more tokens you use in a month, the less each one costs.

How smart the agent is
A smarter agent thinks harder on the steps that take judgment: quoting, negotiation, booking, and tracking. Those use more tokens at higher levels, and the rest cost the same at every level.
Reads context, handles the usual exceptions, and asks you when it isn't sure.
- QuotingReads the whole reply thread, catches missing details, and follows up once.~16
- NegotiationCounters round by round toward your target.~8
- BookingBooks it and sends the confirmations.~6
- Tracking and updatesChecks in on schedule and tells you when something changes.~4
What the agent does
What you switch on here is what the agent does in your account from day one, and you can turn on more at any time. Each feature shows the tokens it usually takes. These are estimates: a long negotiation uses more, a quick yes uses fewer, and your bill shows what each shipment actually used. A token starts at $0.50 and costs less as your month grows. A shipment the agent quotes, negotiates, and books end to end usually takes about 30.
Email intake, quoting, negotiation, booking, and tracking are all on, so the Full desk discount applies.

How it works
Four things to know, and nothing hidden behind them.
- 01
Every action has an estimate in tokens
At the Seasoned level, quoting a shipment usually takes about 16 tokens, negotiating it about 8, and booking it about 6, so one run end to end is about 30. The bill shows what each shipment actually used.
- 02
One base price, then pay as you go
$999 a month covers the platform and everyone on your desk, with no seats. The work the agent does is pay as you go on top, so a quiet month costs less.
- 03
The rate drops as you grow
There are no price steps. The first token in a month costs $0.50, and each one after it costs a little less, heading toward $0.30. The builder draws the curve and marks where your month lands.
- 04
A spend cap you set
At checkout you type the most you'll spend on tokens in a month. Past it, new work waits for your team instead of running up the bill. The cap is printed on the invoice with who set it.
Questions
The fine print,in plain words.

Is the estimate what I'll pay?
It's your most likely month. You pay a fixed $999 base, plus pay as you go for what the agent actually does, so a busy month costs more and a quiet one less. Your spend cap sets the most a month can cost. Use the builder as a calculator, and as a control: what you switch on is what your account starts with.
What is a token?
The unit the agent's work is priced in. At the Seasoned level each action has an estimate: about 16 tokens to quote a shipment, 8 to negotiate it, 6 to book it, 4 to track it, 2 to create it from an email, 1 for a lane check, and 2 for each text or call minute. Harder shipments use more and easy ones fewer, and your bill lists what each one actually used. A token starts at $0.50 and gets cheaper as your month grows, toward $0.30.
When is a shipment counted?
Quoting counts once a broker or carrier quote is in hand. No quote, no tokens. Negotiation, booking, and tracking count once each per shipment, even when the work runs past month end. Email intake counts once for each shipment it creates.
Why are the token counts estimates?
Because shipments differ. A broker who says yes to the first counter takes less work than one who goes five rounds. You pay for the work that actually happened, the estimates tell you what to expect, and your spend cap means a hard month never surprises you.
What does the intelligence level change?
How hard the agent thinks on the steps that take judgment: quoting, negotiation, booking, and tracking. Higher levels use more tokens on those steps, and negotiation changes the most. Email intake, lane checks, texts, and calls cost the same at every level. The estimates on this page are at Seasoned. Mastermind does the most for negotiation, so with negotiation off a lower level is usually the better fit.
Where does rate intelligence come from?
It's powered by WAL's freight rate data. Before you ask your partners, the agent checks the lane's market rate, then scores every quote you get against it.
What is the Full desk discount?
10% off your tokens when email intake, quoting, negotiation, booking, and tracking are all on, so the agent runs the whole shipment.
Can I turn on more later?
Yes, at any time. Your account starts with what you switch on here, and you can turn features on or off, change the intelligence level, or add carriers whenever you like. Agent changes apply to the next action it takes. Carrier connections you add are prorated for the rest of the month, and ones you remove come off at the end of it.
What happens when I reach my spend cap?
New work waits for your team until next month or until you raise the cap. Shipments already started keep the agent to the end; it never drops a negotiation with a broker partway through. You get a notice at 80% and at 100%.
Is there a free trial or a free plan?
There's no free plan. Every plan starts with 14 days at no charge: you choose your setup and add a card, and nothing is charged until the 14 days are up. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
What does a carrier connection cost?
$40 a month for each carrier you connect on your own API account, however much you ship with it. It brings that carrier's live rates in beside your broker quotes and lets the agent book with it directly.
How does the token discount work?
It's a smooth curve, not tiers. The first token in a month costs $0.50, and every token after it costs a little less than the one before, heading toward $0.30. Your bill always goes up with use, never jumps, and the more the agent does in a month, the lower your average price. Hover the curve in the builder to read any point.
Do unused tokens roll over?
There's nothing to roll over. Tokens are pay as you go: you're billed for the ones the agent uses each month, on top of your base.
Why are ERP connectors only on Enterprise?
Connecting your ERP means mapping your accounts, vendors, and approval rules, and we do that with your team. That setup is part of every Enterprise plan, along with single sign-on and a committed rate for more than 150 shipments a month.
Do you take a percentage of my freight?
No. Trace is software. We never take a cut of what you pay carriers, and we never earn more when your freight costs more.
Freight runs on Trace.Start with one task.
Most teams begin with a single workflow, like quoting or tracking, and hand over more once the agent proves itself on real freight.
